Description

Heres a sketch of William Grey from Dark Void, one of my favorite games of 2010.

I was going to color this in a style similar to MvC3's artwork (Since I would have liked to see him in the game), but I hate coloring. The finished version will be posted later.

Having played Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 rather extensively, I still feel William Grey could offer a lot to the game, despite the whole weapon change thing being used by Amaterasu, but the context is still different enough I suppose. And now knowing the control scheme a bit better I can imagine the mentioned move set more precisely:

Special Moves:

QCF+Attack= Liberator Shot / Disintegrator Blast

-For Liberator Shot Light, Medium and Heavy Attack buttons change its trajectory. Can be used in the air. If all of the shots hit the opponent, the last will do a small explosion. (Won't work if opponent is blocking)

-For Disintegrator Blast Light, Medium and Heavy Attack buttons change its speed. Can be used in the air.

Foward DP+ Attack= Watcher Gauntlet

-Light Attack eats projectiles; fast but more or less stationary.

-Medium Attack eats projectiles and causes knockdown if it hits an opponent. Add H. Attack to this version to toss opponent to the opposite side of the screen.

-Heavy Attack eats projectiles and makes Will move a bit further. It causes wall bounce if it hits the opponent.

QCB+Attack= Grenade/Watcher Grenade

-For Grenade, if the attack button is held down for a bit it charges the grenade for a bigger blast. Light, Medium and Heavy Attack buttons change its trajectory.

-For Watcher Grenade, when thrown it causes a dome to appear that holds the opponent in place for a short amount of time and causes very little damage. Light, Medium and Heavy Attack buttons change its trajectory.

Down-Down+Special= Weapon Change

-Similar to Amaterasu, Weapon Change swaps Will's firearm and alters his Special and Hyper move-set. He only has 2 options however:

-Survivor Mode: Gives him Liberator Shot, Grenade and Hypercoil Hyper Combo.

-Watcher Mode: Gives him Disintegrator Blast, Watcher Grenade and Magnetar Hyper Combo.

QCB+Special= Rocket-Pack Flight

-Rocket-Pack Flight allows Will to use his Rocket-Pack, giving him more mobility in the air and extend some combos. This also grants him an 8 Way air dash as opposed to a regular forward and back air dash while not in Rocket-Pack Flight.

Hyper Combos:

QCF+2X Attack= Hypercoil/Magnetar

-Hypercoil is a large, violent stream of electric fury. A standard beam Hyper Combo. Can be used in the air.

-Magnetar is a mid-sized but fast traveling ball of energy that does moderate damage. If it connects, it paralizes the opponent and causes him/her to float up slowly.

The standard trajectory of the Magnetar is to shoot straight. If the opponent jumps over it, it will simply bounce back only once. If holding Up during the starting animation sequence, the shot will go at a diagonal angle, causing it to bounce off the roof and ground about 4 times. (Full screen estimation) Can be used in the air.

Foward DP+2X Attack= Bermuda Crash Course

-This is a fast traveling but low priority tackle attack (Similar to Spencer's Bionic Lancer). The attack has 2 trajectories, straight and upwards diagonal. If used in the air, it can go either straight or downwards diagonal. The trajectory is chosen by holding Up during the starting animation sequence. This move's best use is as a combo finisher or for punishing obvious mistakes.

QCB+2X Attack= Adept Flying

-This is a Level 3 Hyper Combo, cinematic in nature if it connects. The attack is fast with Will flying straight and doing an upwards arc a little after midscreen. This makes it good for not only hitting grounded opponents but also as an anti-air, however the arc also means it isn't effective at full screen. This move probably wont be easy to combo into, so it would likely require assistance or prior stunning from the Watcher Grenade or Magnetar Hyper.
